Abstract

Specific features of interatomic interaction of semiconductor compounds of the Cd-P(As) system derived from the analysis of experimental data and theoretical calculations of magnetic susceptibility are discussed. It is shown that the A 2 B 2 5 compounds are of predominantly covalent and A 3 2 B 2 5 of dominating ionic bond character.
