Abstract

The influence of the uniaxial surface magnetic anisotropy K s on the ferromagnetic resonance spectra and on the excitation of surface spin-wave modes is investigated by means of the macroscopic theory for iron and iron-rich bulk amorphous alloys. The theory is compared with FMR measurements on a FeNiB amorphous alloy.
