Abstract

The calculation of spin-wave spectra of the easy-plane model of CuB 2O 4 copper metaborate has been made. The coincidence of the spectra periods along the tetragonal c -axis for the quasi-one-dimensional chains and the three-dimensional subsystem points out the ferromagnetic order inside the chains with antiferromagnetic inter-chain ordering. The exchange interaction constants were found from the comparison with the inelastic neutron scattering data.
