Abstract

The “arc of contact” model assumes infinitely thin extraocular muscle (EOM) tendons wrap around the globe, applying 100% of EOM force as oculorotary until loss of tangency at scleral contact. We used MRI to determine if that model provides an accurate prediction of EOM anatomy.
