Abstract
A 47-year-old woman presented with a 6-month history of mild intermittent but recurrent abdominal pain. On physical examination, there was mild tenderness in the right upper quadrant. Laboratory results showed all tumor markers were normal, including α-fetoprotein levels and serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9. Ultrasonography showed multiple small hypoechoic and hyperechoic hepatic lesions. An abdominal magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography was performed, and thousands of subcentimeter liver foci, with T1-weighted hypointense (dark image) and T2-weighted hyperintense (bright image), were shown.
