Abstract
Granular cell tumors (GCT) of the breast are rare lesions which can resemble primary breast carcinoma on clinical exam, as well as on mammographic and ultrasound imaging. Because they represent only a minute fraction of breast neoplasms, the magnetic resonance (MR) imaging appearance of GCT of the breast has not been extensively studied. We describe a GCT of the breast in a 53-year-old female, with gross and microscopic pathologic correlation to the tumor's MR imaging appearance.
