Abstract
Magnetic properties of the pseudobinary alloy (Cr-Mn)Pt 3 are calculated in the rigid band model. The concentration dependences of the magnetisation, electronic low-temperature specific heat coefficient and high-field spin susceptibility are calculated at 0 K. The temperature dependence of the paramagnetic susceptibility for CrPt 3 is also calculated by taking into account the effect of spin fluctuations. The calculated results are compared with the experimental ones.
