Abstract

The magnetic properties of the nearest-neighbor interaction bond-diluted mixed ferrimagnetic spin system with crystal field are investigated by means of the effective field theory. Particular emphasis is given to the honeycomb lattice for which different magnetization curves are obtained. For certain bond concentration and negative crystal field values, the single or double compensation temperature may occur in the present system. We find a number of interesting phenomena that are not predicted by Néel theory. The influence of the bond concentration on the magnetization curves is discussed in detail in the paper.
