Abstract

A Heisenberg model is solved within the spin-wave theory for thin films with a superlattice configuration in which ferromagnetic atomic layers are separated by nonmagnetic spacer layers. The interface interaction is assumed to be ferromagnetic. We have also included magnetic anisotropy and surface effects. The temperature dependence of the magnetization M( T), transition temperature and the energy of magnons in such composite systems are derived for several sets of material parameters.
