Abstract
Glass-covered amorphous Fe 77Cr 2B 16Si 5 microwire was Joule heated under applied tensile stress. The influence of annealing current on the hysteresis properties was investigated. On the sample annealed with 78 mA and 120 MPa the stress dependence of hysteresis loop and the magnetoimpedance were studied. The observed behaviour is explained by inhomogeneous magnetic anisotropy, which is a combination of magnetoelastic anisotropy and the creep-induced anisotropy.
