Abstract

The magnetizations of single crystal (Fe 1− x Ru x ) 2P have been measured as a function of temperature ( T) from 5 to 300 K and magnetic field ( H) up to 5.5 T. It is found that the substitution of Ru for Fe leads to the antiferromagnetic state for 0.02 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.06, and above x = 0.06, the magnetic state changes to ferromagnetism again.
