Abstract

The magnetic properties σ s, σ r, H A, i H c and T c of R 2(Fe,Si) 14B and Nd 2(Fe 0.94- x Co x Si 0.06) 14B compounds of P42/mmm-type have been investigated. The σ s of R 2(Fe,Si) 14B are fairly sharply diminshed while the T c are increased with the Si content. The sharp decrease of i H c in Nd 2(Fe 0.94- x Co x Si 0.06) 14B with Co concentration is not only due to the decrease of H A but also to the influence of the microstructure.
