Abstract
Polyacetylene and polypyrrole have been chemically modified by incorporation of different organic free radicals. The magnetic properties were characterized by static magnetic susceptibility measurements and ESR spectroscopy. We analyzed the potentialities of indirect exchange interaction between spin labels via the conduction electrons for iodine doped polyacetylene.
