Abstract
The magnetic hyperfine field distribution that is associated with the number of hydrogen nearest neighbors of iron atoms in HoFe2Hx has been determined. From an analysis of the isomer shift values the 4s electron transfer from iron to hydrogen and the intra-atomic 3d-4s electron transfer has been calculated.
