Abstract
The Gd(Fe x Al 1- x ) 3 and Gd(Co x Al 1- x ) 3 compounds with x⪖0.2 are ferrimagnetically ordered. The temperature dependence of the reciprocal susceptibility follows a hyperbolic law of Néel-type. The effective g values are described by the Wangsness' relation with g Fe and g Co values, close to those of pure metals.
