Abstract

Temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility, specific heat and EPR studies on Ba 2-XK XCu 3O 4Cl 2 for x=0 and 0.02 are reported. Near 320K the value of the line width of EPR signal shows a peak. The other anomaly was observed around 40K in the temperature dependence of susceptibility but not of specific heat. We suppose that there are two sort of Cu ions which order antiferromagnetically at different temperature, at 320K or 40K respectively.
