Abstract
Magnetic ac susceptibility, heat capacity and neutron diffraction data of MnRuP are presented. Below the ordering temperature T N = (269±1) K, an incommensurate spiral structure appears. A first-order magnetic transition to a different incommensurate phase takes place at T 1 = (176±10) K, and at T 2 = (116±5) K a reorientation of the magnetic moments is detected.
