Abstract

Abstract We study the interplay between antiferromagnetism and the paramagnetic metal–insulator-transition (PMIT) on a Bethe lattice with nearest and next-nearest neighbor hopping. For t 2 / t 1 → 1 the PMIT outgrows the antiferromagnetic phase and shows a scenario similar to V2O3. We also look at other ordered phases for the doped system, where we find a ferromagnetic phase.
