Abstract
The transverse and longitudinal muon (μ +) spin relaxation in liquid 3He was studied in the temperature range 0.5 – 2.5 K. The obtained results manifest two different relaxation mechanisms: “recombinational” depolarization, i.e. slow muonium formation, and magnetic relaxation, which is due to the presence of 3He nuclear magnetic moments.
