Abstract

We have found noticeable hysteretic behavior in the dependence of the zero-resistance critical temperature obtained through resistivity (ϱ) vs. temperature ( T) measurements with applied field ( H e) in YBa 2Cu 3O 7 − x ceramic superconductors. this behavior is qualitatively explained based on the analogy between the present phenomenon and the analogous hysteresis observed in the transport critical current ( Jc) vs. H e curves of these materials.
