Abstract

The observation of magnetic fields in supernova remnants (SNRs) may help to understand evolutionary effects, to study a possible coupling between the magnetic field of SNRs and the general galactic magnetic field, and to investigate the influence of galactic magnetic field variations on the morphology of SNRs.
