Abstract

ABSTRACT Four Zeeman spectrograms from Lick Observatory of Boo A and two of L Peg at 2 A mm-' have been measured to determine ff a weak magnetic field is present in Boo A. The results indicate that the field is too weak to be measured by this techni ue on these spectrograms, although remeasurements of spectrograms from Mauna Kea at 3.4 mm-1 still give a positive field of 170 gauss. Key words: magnetic field - Zeeman spectroscopy - individual star
