Abstract

We show that in a metal the magnetic field effect on the longitudinal acoustic sound propagation is drastically enhanced by the exchange interaction between electrons, and that observed large magnetic field effects in A15 compounds as well as in itinerant electron ferromagnets can be qualitatively understood from such results.
