Abstract

A brief description of the magnet and spiral shim design for the Colorado 52 inch cyclotron will be given showing the correlation between the model and full scale designs. Measuring techniques employing Hall plates and digital recording are described. The equilibrium orbit properties as a function of magnetic field from 5 to 14 kgauss are given. A linear programming procedure for determination of current settings is described.
