Abstract

ABSTRACTAnisotropic properties of Sommerfeld coefficient and penetration depth for single crystal NdFeAsO1−xFx has been studied by using modified phenomenological Ginzburg–Landau (GL) theory. In the above two-band superconducting system, the calculated value of Sommerfeld coefficient shows very close proximity with the experimental result as reported by Welp. Further, anisotropic ratio of penetration depth also calculated and reported for this system. The results of anisotropic properties of the above superconducting system implied that modified GL-theory in the form presented here can be applicable to the above superconducting system.
