Abstract

We have investigated the magnetic structural evolution of some ferromagnetic amorphous alloys by means of internal friction studies. The parameter used is a longitudinal magnetic field applied in the ribbon length direction. The magnetic stability of the alloys is found to be compositional dependent. Annealing and heating effects may arise from some species diffusion such of C atoms with 0.16 eV activation energy.
