Abstract

In tensile viscoplastic deformation process of a Polyvinyl Chloride sheet, a local heterogeneous temperature field emerges around the viscoplastic areas of specimen surface. Rapid changing temperature gradient will lead a pyromagnetic effect. A self developed sensors system is employed to detect the magnetic intensity coupling thermal changes in experiments. In the meanwhile, the local nonuniform temperature field is recorded with a thermal infrared imager and is analyzed.
