Abstract
We report the magnetic properties of Tb/Si multilayers obtained byrf-sputtering at the Tb layer thickness LTb = 3 nm.Analysis of the magnetization processes indicates more complexbehaviour than canonical spin-glass transition. It is more probablethat these multilayers contain both Tb superparamagnetic particles andTb–Si spin-glass alloys.
