Abstract

The current research is related to the preparation and inspection of various properties of nano-composites. These composites are the combination of ferrite filler and polypyrrole matrix. The co-precipitation route was taken into account to produce ferrite filler and eminent in-situ polymerization method was utilized to obtain polypyrrole. Merging of Nd0.04Fe2O4 ferrites within the polypyrrole polymeric matrix enabled to get nano-composites. There were six samples PPy (polypyrrole), FP1 (25% ferrite), FP2 (50% ferrite), FP3 (75% ferrite, FP4 (100% ferrite) and pure ferrite. The structural, morphological and magnetic behaviors of the fabricated samples were examined. The ferromagnetic behavior of fabricated composites was witnessed through hysteresis loop. When the quantity of ferrite filler was increased in the matrix, the variation in the magnetic parameters (magnetization and coercivity) resulted. The high values of dielectric constant suggest that these samples may be suitable for microwave devices.
