Abstract

From measurements of the magnetic and electric field dependence of a giant resistivity anomaly (GRA) which was observed within the superconducting (SC) transition region of TaSe 3 , it was found that the behavior of the GRA under the magnetic field was accompanied by the anisotropy of the SC critical magnetic field, H c2 , and there was the threshold electric field in the nonlinear conductivity in the GRA state. It is concluded that the GRA is one aspect of the SC phenomena. Furthermore, it is suggested that the mechanism of the GRA is related with the impurity pinning in the SC state.
