Abstract
The magnetization of melt-spun amorphous Co 80− x Ho x B 20 alloys with (0< x<12), under magnetic fields up to 20 T, has been studied and the results obtained were analyzed based on the random magnetic anisotropy model. Addition of Ho has been found to decrease exchange and to enhance anisotropy.
