Abstract

The magnetic permeability after-effect in amorphous ferromagnets has been studied by means of an impulsive technique. The permeability relaxation is described as a superposition of activated elementary processes characterized by a wide distribution of time constants. A model interpreting these time constants, spread because of a distribution of activation energies, is discussed.
