Abstract

For the first time in this kind of scientific literature, the author addresses the technological side of persuasion as one of the main goals of journalistic work. The article reveals the tasks of a persuasive text, i.e. to make the reader believe the author and accept his/her evidence and point of view. The author tries to figure out what magical thinking is and how a persuasive writing works with it, and concludes that one of the signs of a journalist's professionalism is the ability to use persuasive writing tools in any situation.
