Abstract

Madison Avenue's advertising counterparts in the Soviet Union have been criticized in a recent article in the Soviet periodical Sovietskaya Kultura. Calling for more artistic advertising, the newspaper urged that the most talented writers and artists be encouraged to contribute to the improvement of the craft.
