Abstract
1. When mixtures of different single-component polyamides were heated, mixed polymides were formed, and these were similar to the products obtained .when .the appropriate mixtures of monomers were heated. 2. It was shown that exchange reactions play an important pari in polycondensat on processes. 3. It is considered that the structure and composition of polyamide macromolecules, and also their fractional composition, are determined not by the kinetics of the individual stages of the process, but by the state of polycondensation equilibrium.
