Abstract

Cover: In a long copolymer chain such as Pluronic F127, the mass of the two flanked -OH end groups is only about 0.3 wt% as compared to that of the whole macromolecule. What can these easily ignored end groups do in the physical behavior when responding to environmental temperature, particularly when the end groups are partially oxidized? The cover picture shows some significant impact on molecular arrangements and textures of the solution responding to temperature changes. Further details can be found in the article by C. Zhang* and A. J. Easteal on page 1220.
