Abstract

A model of contact between an electrode and a MF-4SK membrane in sulfuric acid solutions is studied by the impedance method. It is shown that a layer of higher electrolyte concentration forms near the free electrode surface in heavily diluted solutions. The layer ensures participation of this surface in the electrode process. Electrical fields in the region of contact between the membrane and a current collector are calculated
