Abstract

The Macau Special Administrative Region (Macau S.A.R.) was established on 20 December 1999, based on the adoption of the Basic Law of the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China by the Eighth National People’s Congress at its First Session on 31 March 1993.
