Abstract
Towards low-voltage and high-performance subminiature microphone, we are studying silicon electret condenser microphone. Recently, we developed a novel charging method for electret films using soft X-ray irradiation. In this paper, the principle of the charging method and the surface potential of a charged inorganic electret film are reported.
