Abstract
Dermabond is a sterile topical adhesive containing a monomeric 2-octyl cyanoacrylate (OCA) formulation, that comes as solution/liquid formulation, including a self-adhering mesh. Dermabond has widespread use in closing wounds, and over the past few years there have been reports of allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) associated with it. Both localized and generalized skin reaction to dermabond have been described in case reports.
