Abstract

The eosphagogastroduodenoscopy(EGD) should warrant full exploration of the relevant sections of upper digestive tracts. The recorded images are a valuable asset in the patient care, while it is also an important objective evidence when legal matters are involved. The European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy(ESGE) has recommended a minimal check list of eight upper digestive tract images which should be introduced into the field of general practice. The aims of this study were to compare the recorded sections of endoscopic images of both experienced and unexperienced endoscopists and to find out whether there are any meaningful missed images in the unexperienced group.
