Abstract

We report a case series of seven patients of non-specific Lipid Transfer Protein (nsLTP) syndrome in whom the history of Urticaria, Angioedema and Anaphylaxis was induced by ingested foods like nuts, lentils and citrus foods within 30 minutes with signs & symptoms of Naso-bronchial allergy due to sensitization to tree pollen (Prosopis juliflora and Haloptelea intergrifolia). Our diagnosis of LTP Syndrome (Urticaria, Angioedema and Anaphylaxis) was due to cross reactivity of ns-LTP with peanut (Ara h 9), walnut (Jug r 3), lentils-Len c 3, citrus foods (lemon-Cit i 3 and orange-Cit s 3) and sensitization due to Prosopis juliflora and Haloptelea intergrifolia with co-factor.
