Abstract
Anthroponymy of M.F.Akhundov's works Summary The article “Anthroponymy of M.F.Akhundov’s works” examines personal names, nicknames, pseudonyms, etc. all anthroponymic units used in the playwright’s work are studied. M.F.Akhundov is the first researcher to think about the important role of anthroponyms in the formation of literary language styles. All representatives of Azerbaijani life of the 19th century participate in the playwright’s work and their spiritual person, spiritual existence is shown with all openness. A number of phraseological expressions used in our modern literary language and containing personal names have become widespread from the works of Mirza Fatali Akhundov or in connection with these works.
