Abstract
H elicobacter pylon has become recognized as a leading cause of gastritis and peptic ulcer disease in both adults and children [1]. A spectrum of endoscopic and radiographic manifestations of H. pylon infection has been reported, including gastric fold thickening, antral nodularity and narrowing, enlarged areae gastricae, and gastric and duodenal ulcers [2-5]. One feature seen at endoscopy predominantly in children with H. pylon infection is the presence of gastric lymphoid hyperplasia [6]. We present the upper gastrointestinal findings of gastric lymphoid hyperplasia in a child with biopsy-proven H. pylon gastritis. Recognition of this radiographic pattern of H. pylon infection is important for prompt diagnosis and treatment.
