Abstract

A technique for lymphatic cannulation using polyethylene cannulae is described which is inexpensive, dependable, and simple to perform. The advantages to the use of cannulae rather than needles are the absence of leakage of infused materials, a more dependable preparation, and greater ease of cannulation and infusion. These features are desirable in lymphatic cannulation for lymphangiography and direct lymphatic cancer chemotherapy.
