Abstract
Abstract Three patients with lymphoma were found to have deformity of the second part of the duodenum due to compression by adjacent retroperitoneal lymph nodes. This was confirmed by lymphangiography. Intravaneous pyelography was normal in all cases since these abnormal nodes lay superior to the kidney and ureter. Careful examination of the second portion of the duodenum especially in the prone oblique position may reveal early lymphoma, and using lymphangiography may avoid the need for surgical exploration.
