Abstract

A 20-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of fever and mediastinal lymphadenopathy. Six years before admission Raynaud's phenomenon was diagnosed. Two years later she developed symmetrical polyarthritis with morning stiffness. Latex agglutination and antinuclear antibodies (ANA) were positive. She was treated with indomethacin, gold and chloroquine
