Abstract

The problem of deriving sampled-data control laws for a class of nonlinear continuous systems is considered. The concept of approximate state-feedback (Lyapunov exponentially) stabilizing control is defined for sampled-data models arising from the sampling of continuous-time systems. Conditions for the existence of such control are explicited. A stability and asymptotic performance analysis is provided.
