Abstract

This essay shows how Luther's theology can provide an orientation in our complex times, an orientation which is at the time faithful to both tradition and the present. To achieve this, the author of this essay uses the exclusive formulas of the Reformation: sola scriptura, solus Christus, sola gratia, sola fide and sola experientia.
