Abstract

Introduction: In the last decade the most promising treatment for deep sternal wound infection was negative pressure wound therapy. However, there are reports of several risks, e.g. right ventricle rupture or severe bleeding due to graft arosion. Here we present another potential risk: herniation with incarceration of the lung.
